Barden Legal has been engaged by a world leader in biopharmaceuticals to recruit a Compliance Associate to join its EUMEA compliance team in Dublin on a 12-month contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Support in review and drafting of a range of Compliance templates
  • Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities
  • Research legal, regulatory, and contractual documents, for interpretive and analytical purposes, to ensure compliance with such areas identified   
  • Support in review and drafting of data privacy agreements;
  • Support the assessment of new and existing regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues within compliance and legal teams and across the wider business
  • Support global anti-bribery/anti-corruption efforts

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • In excess of 2 years’ experience working in-house, within a compliance or legal team
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to partner effectively with others in addressing complex issues
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience working with legal documentation and templates
  • Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel required
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proactive, motivated, self-starter with ability to take initiative on matters
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to partner effectively with others in addressing complex issues
  • Experience at a pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization strongly preferred
